All My Nightmares is a collection of 5001 PFP NFTs on the ethereum blockchain.

The project started as a hunt for a creative output after the death of my Father. The period of time after a loved one passes is an odd time (in my experience). Time flows differently and for me reflection and getting lost in semi forgotten memories formed a big part of this period. 

I thought back to when I was a child and would be scared of things that didn’t exist or were so outside the realms of possibility, but my imagination would conjure these creatures to terrorise me to the point where they were real to me.

As I grow older and start to prepare to welcome my own child into the world the things that occupy my thoughts are not ethereal creatures in the shadows but things that could happen. In a world where one person can start a war, nations are divided and good does not alway conquer, there is a I’m not sure at what point you transition from the fear of the imagined to the concern of the real, but it’s an interesting thought and the transition isn’t acknowledged.

I wanted to channel my feelings into something creative and I found Midjourney.  Midjourney is an incredible asset and one that was used to create this project. As a creative person that doesn’t necessarily have that something special that helps you get your ideas into the world, Midjourney has been invaluable but with any tool you need the correct input to get to the desired output. In creating this collection there has been an incredible amount of effort put into curating what you see now.

In due time there will be announcements about the roadmap, utility and commercial licenses associated with the project. Currently the primary objective is the ongoing character development of each ‘Faction’ in the collection and their use in continued storytelling. There are a lot of questions we have, such as do these characters exist in the same world as each other? What are their motivations? How will their collective stories develop, if at all?
